What is this program?
In 2016, we seven girls in California, founded Eon English, a program created to help Chinese students learn authentic American English. When we decided to start this English program, we knew the perfect name: Eon English. This name proved to be perfect for this program: “eon” means a very long, undefined period of time, which is exactly how long you need to dedicate yourself to learn a language. We started with just having fun with Pokemon cards, which then lead to connecting the world by teaching English, one person at a time.

2016年，我们在加州的七个女孩创建了 Eon English，一个帮助中国孩子学地道美式英语的课程。我们小时候都非常爱 Pokemon（神奇宝贝），每个成员都是不同的 Eevee Evolution。 Eevee Evolutions 被简称为 “Eons”，所以我们很快成为 Eon Club。当我们决定开始这个英语课程时，我们已经知道它的名字：Eon English。这个名字被证明是非常贴切的：“eon” 意味着一个很长的，未知的时间段。这正是你学习一门语言需要用的时间。我们开始只是玩 Pokemon 卡，现在我们向通过教英语帮助每个人连接世界。
Our mission
English is an international language, but many kids today do not have the opportunity to learn it. English could help kids connect and communicate with other people around the world. This program will help young kids in China learn English in a safe and free way. Our mission is to help connect the world one person at a time.
